Michelin expands their reviews beyond Restaurants and into Hotels

Congratulations to Emily and Sam, owners of The Stavrand, for their recent two key award from Michelin! From the outside the Stavrand is quaint almost beyond belief, a Twenties landmark in the storybook locale of Guerneville, California. Inside, though, the fruits of a 2021 renovation are apparent: without sacrificing its historical charm, the Stavrand’s architects have brought it subtly up to date, and the result is a warm, bohemian, slightly utopian vision of Californian life. The original inn was well known for its restaurant, and the Stavrand aims to keep the tradition alive; a quartet of chefs showcase the finest local produce from this remarkably bountiful region.
