It’s harvest season!
The air has cooled and the fruits are ripe. I’ll be skipping across the pond to Scotland and look forward to sharing stories when I get back. Stay tuned for more adventures!
- Increasing bike accessibility through the creation of bike lanes and bike paths.
- The plan recommends creating less restrictive protocols for folks wanting to apply for granny units, tiny homes, and further developments that would increase our city’s building heights.
- Our city’s growth rate is low but we need to increase our density requirements in the city limits.
The music scene in Sebastopol is pretty groovy. One of our local musicians, Robin Pfefer, is a member of 2 bands – Cheap Date 13 and Yo! Pizza Face.
She is a devoted musician, serial entrepreneur, mother, homeschooler, wife and so much more. In her twenties she had the opportunity to purchase Sonoma County’s oldest smoke shop – Gravestones – that she owned for 30 years. Later, she bought and ran the Black Cat Bar in Penngrove…an establishment people still talk about even after it closed! These days, she’s in quasi-retirement with an in-home recording studio and performs with her bands on guitar and vocals. She says…”The qualities that made me charming also made me unemployable so I ran my own businesses!” You can find this lady kicking ass at the farmer’s market or a stage near you. Share a friendly wave if you happen to see her around town.
